I would like to share a bit of info some of which I believe to be factual and some just rationalization. First the facts. The 2010 camaro fuel trim data as gathered and displayed via the predator and dataviewer comes in increments of .7813's. For example a displayed trim could be .7813 or 1.5626 or 2.3439 or 3.1252 etc. etc. The REAL trim would lie somewhere between two of these multibles. The predator only has the ability to change slope adjustments by whole per centages. From this I deduce an optimal adjustment can not be made. The camaro appears very slow to "learn" the new fuel trim adjustments and I believe driving at artificially steady cruising RPMS such as 2000 for prolonged periods just further delays the ECM from learning and changing the cruise trim settings. I expierienced a +.0713 LTFT on both banks cruising on the interstate for 60 miles without changing. I believe it is better to not just put on miles first but to put on miles attained in variable speed driving then perform the logging. Finally do not allow a cruise fuel trim to stay at 0 if you wish to utilize DSLogRedux to analyze the data. Adjust the trim down another -1.
