I have installed both the data viewer and DSLogRedux on my computer and have follow all the instructions in regards to the downloading my log from my diablo hand held device into DSLogRedux by using the data viewer. It says that i need to save it as a .csv file so that i can loaded into the DSLogRedux. I have done everything as it says on the instructions but when i click on verify log parameters on the DSLogRedux, i get this pop up window :

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Argument "Lenght" must be greater or equal to zero.

then it has 3 tabs to choose

Details                     Continue               Quit.

I have a U7193 with the newest version on it, i did my log according to 06MonteSS instructions on data loging. CAn any one explain me what this means and what should i do? Thanks

sounds like something wasn't logged that is needed....

or, something logged data that is out of the usable range, so nothing in the data log is usable data...

please post up your log file and I'll take a look at it...

thanks!

a-HA!!

you didn't EXPORT it as a csv file... you just saved it from the dataviewer with a .csv file extension...

rename it to log1.log...   open it back up in the DataViewer...

then in the dataviewer, go to FILE > EXPORT to .CSV....

that will convert it to a true .csv file and save it so that you'll then be able to open it up in MS Excel and/or DSLogRedux....

Thanks again man, I finally got it to work. I did as you instructed me. I got to the recom cruise adj tab and it says that i need to go -5% on my injector slope. According to your instrcutions after i modify this adjustment in my truck, i have to do another log so that i can get to the WOT/PE Fueling section. If after this is done, lets say no further adjustments are needed in the recomm cruise adj section, is that all i need from there on?

I am very interested in gettin the most power out if my truck. my only mods are a volant cold air intake and a flowmaster catback exhaust system. how can i get a badass/mean tune to rage hell on the road? what info do you need from me in order to do this... what's the fee for the custom tune?

Thank you and sorry for all the questions!!

hahaha.. np man...

well, if you want the MOST out of your truck, then yeah, a custom tune is the way to go...

and if you want me to do a custom tune for ya, then you don't have to make all those adjustments you're doing now - I will do 'em right in the custom tune, along with all the other tweaks I make... so all you'll have to do is send me copies of your two tune files, (original backup and last tune written), and data logs... and I'll do all the rest...

Here's info about my custom tuning:

http://www.dslogredux.com/DiabLew_Tune/

there are links on there to all the info and apps you'll need - i.e. how to export/import tune files, how to do a data log correctly, and what parameters to data log, etc etc... as well as a link to a small sample of just some of the Testimonials I've received from people I've done my tunes for.

Thanks for asking!!

-Lew
